Got a couple more stories in the mail this past week, and even finished a short piece (about 1200 words) that'd been sitting on my harddrive for about 3 years, mocking me. Got that one passed out at my workshop, for review this coming Tuesday.

Got the new printer hooked up this week, and networked in with Lappy, after having to reconfigure the network for Lappy, TiVo, and The Husband's Nameless desktop; alas, mine was one of the not easily installed versions. There's something wiggy going on with Nameless, 'cuz while it says it's part of the network, and can find the printer and all during installation, when I go to actually print something, nada.

The printer itself is very speedy, but I was unable to find the paper stopping thing on the end of the receiving tray, and thus printed-on paper shot out of it and flew around the room like a frickin' snowstorm. I put the thing on the floor to mitigate this somewhat, and then, a miracle happened. The Husband found the stopper. Yay!

And now to do some yard work, specifically clearing out the plants in the atrium before we put down a couple inches of lava rock and white stone.
